Our wonderful clients, Harpreet and Binny, the owners of an Allegra printing franchise, made the bold decision to invest in a state of the art digital label printer called the Jetrion 4950LX. They needed to create a brand to communicate their new label printing capabilities to their consumers and the trade and came to Y5 for help. They wanted a name that would instantly communicate what their service offered, and our talented team put our heads together and came up with the name AllLabels.
We’d created the logo, and the next step was to develop the look and feel of the brand. AllLabels was a completely new business, which meant a clean slate. First, we had to decide how to communicate what they do, why they are different and unique and how they can provide the fastest, most economical and superior label printing to clients who need that service.
To develop a comprehensive label sample package that would inspire, wow and encourage designers to use AllLabels to feed their creativity and provide their clients with a new solution for their label printing.
The beauty of the letters in the word AllLabels is how well they flow. So, after spending time at their facility watching the Jetrion in action, it became clear that the logo needed to show the label stock moving through the machine, simply portraying the sophisticated technology and immediately connecting the viewer with “label printing”.
We immersed ourselves in their process, learning everything we could about the machine capabilities, the many label stocks, and how their service is ‘different’ from regular label presses. Then, we began to develop the messaging and tone and create icons, patterns, slogans and brand assets to be used in the many materials we would be creating to market the brand.
The Y5 team leveraged the ‘cool’ factor and developed a custom label package that engaged potential clients and provided them with a full range of materials, uses and opportunities that AllLabels offers.
After various trials and versions, our skillful designer created the logo that hit the mark and blew our clients away. They loved it and couldn’t wait for us to get started on building their new brand
The brand began to take on a life of its own. AllLabels was now a living, breathing entity – a vehicle for us to blast out on all platforms, making the bold statement that ‘we had arrived’ and label printing would never be the same again!
The beautifully designed and produced sample package was so successful it set the foundation for the brand and future collateral.
