Problem

Simply Computing is an independent company that specializes in Apple products and Accessories with 7 corporate locations and 16 licensed locations across Canada. To stay competitive, they needed a better website with more technical capabilities to showcase their products. They were also seeking approval to sell Apple products on-line as they were only authorized to sell them in-store.

They approached Y5 to help them reach this goal.

Solution

The Y5 team worked with them through a consultation phase where we analyzed their web platform and identified their needs. Through several back-and-forth discussions, we assembled an updated architecture for the website, including a more intuitive interface design. The Y5 Creative team then built out the new platform plan using Shopify.

Result

The e-commerce platform we built completely aligned with Simply’s requirements. They managed to secure authorization from Apple Canada to sell their products online due to the new website design and functionality. Apple was consulted through the process to ensure that we were compliant with their guidelines. Simply is the only company in Canada that has been authorized by Apple to sell their products on-line.
