PACIFIC PARKLANDS FOUNDATION
BRANDING, WEBSITE, COLLATERAL, INFOGRAPHICS, ILLUSTRATION
When the Chairman of the Board of Pacific Parklands Foundation came to Y5 to see how we could help them, the foundation had been in operation for 15 years. Being that it is affiliated to Metro Vancouver Regional Parks, (at arms length), the challenges were many with regard to communicating who they are and what their mission is with respect to the Metro Vancouver Regional Parks.
The brand needed a refresh and they were in dire need of a new website.
We were also tasked with the job of creating an impact by setting a new standard and shifting Pacific Parklands Foundation to the next level.
The end goal was to create more awareness around the brand and attract more donors.
We started by running a social media awareness campaign that engaged supporters and reinforced the Foundations, relationships with Metro Vancouver, David Suzuki Foundation, past and future donors.
The conversation had begun and at this time, we focused on maintaining the momentum and capitalizing on the opportunities showing themselves to us.
We refreshed the brand and started working on the messaging and tone of the brand for the new website that was in the design process.
We created a new, visual, relevant, responsive and interactive website that engages the public and motivates them to volunteer and ultimately make donations to the foundation.
We engaged the public in strong, continuous “anchor” campaigns on social media that pulled them to the website to contribute and share their experiences.
Working together with Metro Vancouver Regional Parks, we gained an enormous amount of experience in navigating the red tape associated with a government organization.
The new website tells real stories about real people, making PPF’s work much easier to relate to.
The main benefit of the website is that it makes it simple for donors to give!
