Pacific Parklands Foundation
Pacific Parklands Foundation is a non–profit organization dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of Metro Vancouver’s Regional Parks.
Relatively unknown, the challenge was to strengthen their brand and create more awareness resulting in and increase in donations.
Y5 created a social media awareness campaign that ran for the month of September, 2015. Due to the success of the campaign, we were commissioned to design and develop their new website.
The first step was to modernize their logo with subtle changes. The website is a showcase of the magnificent regional parks in Metro Vancouver with clear and direct messaging that educates the public on the important work Pacific Parklands Foundation does. Y5 created proprietary software that uniquely recognizes all their donors on an interactive “Donor Wall”. Another fun addition was the “love our parks” campaign that encourages the public to upload photographs and stories of their experiences in the parks.
Y5 creates all the collateral materials as well as the social media campaigns and manages overall social media strategy. Working with the amazing teams at Pacific Parklands Foundation and Metro Vancouver Regional Parks, and contributing the legacy of our regional parks is a great source of pride for all of us at Y5.

What they say
“I was introduced to Y5 and their team early 2015. From the start their expertise and enthusiasm has been fantastic! Y5 is a very creative group with a good sense of humour, an appreciation for budgets, and an understanding of what the business or organizational goals are. The social media campaign that they developed and managed for our non-profit foundation was a real success with much more engagement than we had expected. Thank you Carol, Jonathan, Phil and Natasha! I recommend you highly and wish Y5 continued success!”
