2016 has been a crazy year filled with many joys and many sorrows.

From the launch of Pokemon Go, the Summer Olympics in Rio, exciting movies (a couple of Starwars as well as a prequel of the Harry Potter series – more please!), roller-coaster politics, and far too many losses of celebrities we all cherished greatly.

If you remember, January 2016 started off on a pretty somber note with the losses of celebrities like David Bowie and Alan Rickman – not exactly the way we like to start off a year.

Similarly, at the end of 2016 we have just said goodbye to Carrie Fisher, her famous mother Debbie Reynolds who died only a day later, as well as George Michael.

Geez! Who else is ready to get 2017 going already?

Good and bad, a whole lot happened this year. Luckily for us, Beutler Ink created an illustration of the Best and Worst of 2016.

A very detailed graphic to be sure – we see every major event presented right there for us all to access and react to together.

The notion of an full year, all-round, event graphic is a pretty cool thing. Not only is there comfort in the global connection we all have with these events, but there is also comfort in the access we have to all of the outcome of these events. The ability for people all over the world to see this graphic, or the events it represents, and band together to support each other and share our ideas and thoughts together.

While many things may have happened this year, we are taking with us the positive. In this present world, we have the ability to support those across the world, and at home; celebrate the wins, and heal from the losses.

Social media is pretty awesome that way, huh?
